Pet sitting in the safety of your home

Services

I know first-hand how stressful being away from your pets can be. That is why I offer bespoke pet sitting in your pets' own environment and keep to routines and regimes set by each individual owner. The feeding and cleaning is only part of what I can offer. I have a way with difficult cats and feel that I have a lot to offer with my other skills such as being able to administer parasite treatments and injections. Not forgetting the cuddles and playtime. If you have wi-fi at home I can also offer a free FaceTime service so that you can check in on your animal whilst I am with them – this will give you as an owner peace of mind to see that your animal is being well taken care of. Whenever out walking your dog, an ID tag is attached to its collar. It carries Petstacular Care’s details and my telephone number and is intended to offer you greater security and peace of mind.

What clients say...

“Hayley was wonderful with my cat Monkii! Monkii is very shy around new people, and Hayley was perfect in knowing how to get her interest without scaring her. She took such good care of Monkii while I was away. She also sent me messages and photos every day to let me see how Monkii was doing. Monkii and I highly recommend Hayley and Petstacular Care to anyone needing these services. I will use her again!”
Karen Berry, Monkii

“Hayley is the perfect cat sitter and my two boys loved her straight away. When I came home everything was kept clean and they were happy, which is what counts!! I received picture updates, which was a lovely surprise and also reassuring. Thanks again Hayley we will definitely recommended you to our friends.”
Jodie, a cat lover xx

“Hayley has been my pet sitter for almost eight months now and I feel so lucky to have her. Hayley looks after my pet rabbit Jacob. I currently live aboard and Hayley looks after Jacob once a week to help my mum. I contacted Hayley after having some problems with another person who offered to help us. Hayley agreed to look after Jacob after very short notice. She was a life saver! Jacob is quite shy around new people, and Hayley was very patient with him at the beginning. She made him feel more relaxed and safe. Now he really looks forward to Hayley's visits and loves playing with her. Hayley is very caring and really loves animals. Jacob loves getting strokes and running around with her! I'm so happy to have found Hayley. She is really reliable and fun! And a great friend to Jacob and my mum! I'd really recommend her!”
Valene Phillip, Jacob

“Hayley has looked after my cat Gem on two occasions. On first meeting Hayley I was a little apprehensive as it was for a two week holiday but her experience of animals & lovely personality eased my mind. She took time to find out routines , feeding , likes/dislikes & Gem was instantly curious of her. During the holiday I had a family emergency and needed to extend my time away. I was so grateful that Hayley was only too willing to be flexible & continue the care . With each visit I was sent a video/picture or message so felt like I was never far away, and I could see Gem was loving her visits. I came home to a very happy cat. I will be using Hayley for any future bookings & would recommend her to anyone in the area.”
Bronwyn Hamilton

“Hayley looked after our cat, Katie for two weeks when we were on holiday.  Hayley came to meet the cat before we went away and asked lots of questions about likes and dislikes, habits, etc., so that she could provide the best possible experience for Katie. Hayley updated us every day, letting us know how Katie was getting on, and often sent us a short video of her playing, which was comforting to see when we were so far away.  Hayley went above and beyond just feeding the cat – she cleaned the litter tray every day and played with Katie and provided cuddles where the cat allowed. She even put the bins out for us on collection day! I would book Hayley again in an instant and highly recommend her as a pet sitter.”
Elaine, Katie

“Hayley has looked after our cat Snowflake twice now. Each time she has come round beforehand more than once to discuss Snowflake’s routine and to ensure she knows which are his favourite toys. Whilst we have been away she has kept us updated and sent pictures of Snowflake so we know he is happy and well cared for. There is the added advantage that someone is going into the house every day whilst we are away. We would have no hesitation in recommending Hayley.”
Jane Spencer-Davis, Snowflake

"Hayley looked after our two boys (cats) for two weeks while we were away on our honeymoon and they absolutely loved her! We were really worried about leaving them as we'd only just moved house and they can get very stressed when we leave them for extended periods. But they were so well looked after and so happy and content when we got home we couldn't be more pleased. Hayley was also brilliant at keeping us updated with pictures and little messages to let us know how they were getting on which really put our minds at ease. We will 100% be booking Hayley again and would strongly recommend her to anyone who is nervous about leaving their pets alone, she is Fab."
Rachel

"Hayley has looked after our cat twice now and both times has done a fantastic job. Our cat is diabetic and requires insulin injections twice a day plus regular feeding. Hayley had no problem doing the injections and most importantly our cat liked her instantly. Hayley is very friendly and reliable. In addition to taking care of your pet she is also happy to look after your house while you are away. We will definitely be contacting Hayley next time we go away and I'm sure our cat will be thrilled to see her again! Thanks."

"I have known Hayley for many years through my cousins, and she's always been an animal lover with their best interest at heart. Hayley looked after my 2 dogs Hooch and Skye over the weekend whilst I was away, and I wouldn't have picked any other person. The reason for this is because of Hayley's dedication to animals, and the time and care she gives them... I will definitely be using Hayley's animal care services each time I go away because they were faultless."
Carl Fergus, Hooch & Skye

"I was told about Hayley when I was let down... she is amazing, she took the time to get to know my fur-babies, and feathered and scaly friends... my kids loved her and we where able to go away knowing our animals were being looked after as if we was doing it ourselves. She sent me updates and pics. Not only is she amazing and does her job with heart, she is genuinely a lovely person. We have her booked already and I will be booking with her always and I will be recommending her to all my animal crazy friends x ;) x"
Katie Cassidy

"I was working with Hayley for over a year at the Mayhew Animal Home so I knew already I both trusted and liked her, the big question was - What would the cats think? During her Meet and Greet visit I could tell straight away that the cats were curious to get to know her. She spent a lot of time with them when we were away and I know that THEY like and trust her now too! I feel like I can finally start to look forward to our future holidays now instead of worrying about who will look after our precious kitties, Thank you Hayley!"
Maria, Nick, Electra & Dodger

"When my family and I had to go away for a few weeks for my wedding one of the biggest causes of stress was who would look after our loving and very sociable dog Piccolo. Hayley has been incredible from start to finish, visiting us plenty of times even before we left and really making the effort to get to know Piccolo. She’s also helped with his training – teaching him how to fetch and behave better when out on a walk. She’s been honest in identifying when he’s bored and unhappy and showed initiative by buying him more stimulating toys. All in all Hayley has become part of the family and we wouldn’t hesitate to turn to her again or recommend her to anyone else whose pet needs looking after."
Daniel Abebe

"Dilenjah is now 9 years old and has known Hayley since he was a puppy. I travel a lot and Hayley has looked after and trained Dilenjah over the years. She has taken him for lead walks and successfully introduced him to other dogs in the park. His excitement when she arrives at my house speaks a thousand words. I am very happy with Hayley's level of animal care and welfare, as well as her level of communication with myself when I'm abroad."
Kirsty Watson

"Hayley is absolutely the best! I work long hours and Hayley was there every day to walk and give my beloved dog a cuddle. She spent a lot of time with Orca, playing with her and showing her love so that Orca was not too lonely in the daytime. Hayley really shows that she cares, plus she is reliable and trustworthy. Her love of animals is simply unsurpassed. She would be the first person to call if I needed an animal sitter. Hire her today! You will not be disappointed!"
Beverley Willis

""After my dog had become seriously sick and had undergone major surgery, he was in need of full time care and we needed a dog sitter who also had medical experience we could trust. With an outing planned for a big special occasion and no dog sitter, we were recommended Hayley by the hospital in which Coco was admitted to. After meeting Hayley for the first time and seeing her instant connection with Coco, we knew she would be a great fit. Hayley's warm nature was lovely to see and seeing Coco happy with her made us happy. We will definitely be using Hayley again in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for trustworthy and professional care for their pet."

My story

Hi. My name is Hayley and this is my journey that has brought me to where I am today. I have always had animals in my life as far back as I can remember and have enjoyed caring for them with great passion. I could not understand why people would want to hurt them and decided that I wanted to give something back as animals had always given so much to me throughout my lifetime.

I officially started caring for animals at the RSPCA in 2007 after volunteering there for a year, caring for the cats in their cattery as an Animal Care Assistant. I stayed there for nearly 10 years before moving on to the PDSA at their Animal Hospital where I trained to be an Apprentice Veterinary Care Assistant.

I then became a student at The Mayhew Animal Home for cats and dogs where I have just completed my Level 2 Diploma in animal care.   I have also completed a BTEC Level 2 course in Understanding Enterprise and Entrepreneurship (QCF).

I now want to extend my love of animals into their homes and provide comfort for them and to help the owners feel relaxed whilst away from their beloved pets.
