Pet sitting in the safety of their home

Services

I know first-hand how stressful being away from your pets can be. That is why I offer bespoke pet sitting in your pets' own environment and keep to routines and regimes set by each individual owner. The feeding and cleaning is only part of what I can offer. I have a way with difficult cats and feel that I have a lot to offer with my other skills such as being able to administer parasite treatments and injections. Not forgetting the cuddles and playtime. If you have wi-fi at home I can also offer a free FaceTime service so that you can check in on your animal whilst I am with them – this will give you as an owner peace of mind to see that your animal is being well taken care of.

What clients say...

"I was working with Hayley for over a year at the Mayhew Animal Home so I knew already I both trusted and liked her, the big question was - What would the cats think? During her Meet and Greet visit I could tell straight away that the cats were curious to get to know her. She spent a lot of time with them when we were away and I know that THEY like and trust her now too! I feel like I can finally start to look forward to our future holidays now instead of worrying about who will look after our precious kitties, Thank you Hayley!"

"When my family and I had to go away for a few weeks for my wedding one of the biggest causes of stress was who would look after our loving and very sociable dog Piccolo. Hayley has been incredible from start to finish, visiting us plenty of times even before we left and really making the effort to get to know Piccolo. She’s also helped with his training – teaching him how to fetch and behave better when out on a walk. She’s been honest in identifying when he’s bored and unhappy and showed initiative by buying him more stimulating toys. All in all Hayley has become part of the family and we wouldn’t hesitate to turn to her again or recommend her to anyone else whose pet needs looking after."
Daniel Abebe

"Dilenjah is now 9 years old and has known Hayley since he was a puppy. I travel a lot and Hayley has looked after and trained Dilenjah over the years. She has taken him for lead walks and successfully introduced him to other dogs in the park. His excitement when she arrives at my house speaks a thousand words. I am very happy with Hayley's level of animal care and welfare, as well as her level of communication with myself when I'm abroad."
Kirsty Watson

"Hayley is absolutely the best! I work long hours and Hayley was there every day to walk and give my beloved dog a cuddle. She spent a lot of time with Orca, playing with her and showing her love so that Orca was not too lonely in the daytime. Hayley really shows that she cares, plus she is reliable and trustworthy. Her love of animals is simply unsurpassed. She would be the first person to call if I needed an animal sitter. Hire her today! You will not be disappointed!"

My story

Hi. My name is Hayley and this is my journey that has brought me to where I am today.   I have always had animals in my life as far back as I can remember and have enjoyed caring for them with great passion. I could not understand why people would want to hurt them and decided that I wanted to give something back as animals had always given so much to me throughout my lifetime.

I officially started caring for animals at the RSPCA in 2007 after volunteering there for a year, caring for the cats in their cattery as an Animal Care Assistant. I stayed there for nearly 10 years before moving on to the PDSA at their Animal Hospital where I trained to be an Apprentice Veterinary Care Assistant.

I then became a student at The Mayhew Animal Home for cats and dogs where I have just completed my Level 2 Diploma in animal care.   I have also completed a BTEC Level 2 course in Understanding Enterprise and Entrepreneurship (QCF).

I now want to extend my love of animals into their homes and provide comfort for them and to help the owners feel relaxed whilst away from their beloved pets.
